The IITM - Summer Fellowship Programme of two months with stipend is designed to enhance awareness and interest in high quality academic research among young Engineering, Management, Sciences and Humanities students through a goal oriented summer mini-project undertaken at the Indian Institute of Technology Madras.

Eligibility:

 Candidates pursuing Third Year of B.E. / B.Tech. / B.Sc. (Engg) / Integrated M.E. / M.Tech. programme, First Year of ME / M.Tech. / M.Sc. / M.A, MBA with outstanding academic background in terms of high ranks in university examinations are encouraged to apply, highlighting their academic performance and achievement including papers presented at seminars, projects executed, design contests participated, score/rank in Mathematics Olympiad and any other awards/distinctions obtained. [IIT students are not eligible to apply].

Last date for submitting application : 28th February 2018 at 5.00pm

Period of the Project:

 Duration of the programme may commence from 16th May 2018 to 15th July 2018. (Schedule may be flexible to suit student’s convenience.)

Registration is open from 09th January 2017 (Tuesday) until March 07, 2018 10:00 AM (Wednesday).

   Last Date of Registration: 3rd April, 2018. In case, if the seats for respective project are fulfilled then the respective project will be closed much before the last registration date.

#4.) What if we fulfill the Registration formalities but the summer internship project is already closed, will we be getting the Registration amount refunded back?

  Yes, if the Registration for a said summer internship project is closed, then the same will be intimated to the respective student and the Registration Amount will be refunded back.

#5.) What is the duration of the Summer Internship / Training Program 2018 Jaipur, India?

  Duration: 4 weeks / 6 weeks depending upon the official curriculum declared by the college / university applicable on the respective candidate.

#6.) Is there any accommodation facility available for students?

   There are approximately 5 / 6 P.G. s and Hostels for males and females at walking distance from our organization. The cost of living ranges between Rs. 5,000 to Rs.6,000 depending upon the facilities available. The cost of the same need to be borne at your end.

STEP I: Depending upon the area of interest, a candidate can opt for either one of the mentioned projects in "Project Offered" Tab. The summer internship training will be imparted on the technologies used in respective projects in order to complete the project effectively and efficiently. MUN stands for model united nations
It is a 2 days conference in which all the delegates from different country gather and discuss on the agenda (as mentioned) and represent their country. They support their country polices and support their allies.

It is a formal debate sessions for 2 days in which the organisers will provide you lunch for 2 days
High tea during noon time (2 times a day)
And on the first day their is a social night gathering.

There are prizes and certificates for winner i.e  the best delegate from each committee and best journalist for IP members. Cash prize is there for the winners and Verbal certificates for those who did well during sessions and certificates  for those who participants.

Model United Nations, also known as Model UN or MUN, is an educational simulation and/or academic activity in which students can learn about diplomacy, international relations, and the United Nations. MUN involves and teaches participants researching, public speaking, debating, and writing skills, in addition to critical thinking, teamwork, and leadership abilities. Usually an extracurricular activity, some schools also offer Model UN as a class. It is meant to engage students and allow them to develop deeper understanding into current world issues.

Participants in Model United Nations conferences, known as delegates, are placed in committees and assigned countries to represent, or occasionally other organizations or political figures, where they represent members of that body. They are presented with their assignments in advance, along with a topic or topics that their committee will discuss. Delegates conduct research before conferences and formulate positions that they will then debate with their fellow delegates in the committee, staying true to the actual position of the member they represent.At the end of a conference, the best-performing delegates in each committee, as well as delegations, are sometimes recognized with awards.

"Greetings all! IMAD (Introduction to Modern Application Development) is a MOOC on how to build web/mobile applications offered by Hasura in partnership with IIT Madras. The course is free and you can get certified by IITM. Top students from the course are eligible for an internship at Hasura. Register for the course here. ABOUT:-

National Engineering Challenge ’2018 is India’s biggest national level engineering quiz competition, one of its kinds in India, targeting 1000+ engineering colleges in 150+ cities across India with total prize amount of Rs.25,00,000.

Terms & Conditions: -

1.  Registrations - 

(i) To participate in NEC 2018 it is mandatory to register on NEC website nec.thegateacademy.com 

(ii) All the fields mentioned on the signup form are mandatory.

(iii) Fill in your correct details. As you will receive further updates on your provided details only.

(iv) It is mandatory to register with Gmail ID only. 

(v) THE GATE ACADEMY students must fill the details which are already registered with the THE GATE ACADEMY. 

(If the registered mail ID is not gmail ID, please register for NEC with gmail ID and send us a mail to nec@thegateacademy.com communicating us of new and registered ID)

2.  Awards - 

 - One year FREE GATE coaching for GATE 2019. Winners can choose any course except tabGATE. Study material will be provided in the form of ebooks. If any of the winners want Textbooks instead of e-books, HE/SHE can get it at a subsidized cost of Rs. 2000/-.

-Winners will be eligible for prizes only if they appear for subsequent rounds.

3.  Reimbursements -

(i) Round-3: Travel expense upto Rs.5000/- will be reimbursed for the finalists. For reimbursement finalist must submit their travel tickets by 10th of June 2018 with proper bank account details. Reimbursement amount will be credited to their respective accounts by  9th Aug 2018. 

(No reimbursement will be done if the bank account details are incorrect or given after 10th June 2018)

4.  Logistics & Accommodation -

(i) Round 3: THE GATE ACADEMY will bear the expense for accommodation for GRAND FINALE. TGA will book the hotels for top 10 finalists and will share the hotel details 30th June 2018.

(ii) Participants need to arrange travel for round-2 & round-3 on their own.
